The Context & Challenge
To drive technical enablement across Central and Eastern Europe, Microsoft CEE needed to deliver a massive developer training initiative. The operational challenge was to execute ten separate bootcamps across seven different countries. Unlike standard corporate events, these sessions required highly complex technical setups, multiple parallel breakout tracks, and a standardized, repeatable format that could be deployed smoothly across different regional venues.
My Responsibilities & How I Delivered
Repeatable Blueprint Design: Established a standardized operational playbook and logistics framework, enabling the bootcamp format to be replicated efficiently across seven different countries.
Complex Technical & Setup Coordination: Managed intricate venue setups, including high-bandwidth networking requirements, lab environments, and distinct breakout rooms tailored for specialized hands-on technical sessions.
Multi-Country Vendor Management: Coordinated with local AV, IT, and catering vendors in each country to ensure infrastructure standards were met consistently without exceeding budgets.
Large-Scale Attendee Management: Oversaw the logistics and onsite registration flows for crowds averaging 100 developers per event, ensuring a smooth experience from arrivals to lab completions.
